Jefferson Reservoir Improvements, City of Wenatchee, installed by EC Applications

Jefferson Reservoir Improvements, City of Wenatchee

Wenatchee, Washington · 2025

The installation

The Jefferson Reservoir is an 8-million-gallon concrete structure, approximately 30 feet tall and 220 feet in diameter. To address maintenance needs, the City of Wenatchee engaged EC Applications to work with a contractor to install 50,000 square feet of 45 mil reinforced polypropylene (rPP) bottom liner, secured to the concrete using a batten bar attachment system. The work was performed inside the tank under confined space entry protocols, with ventilation, safety spotters, and continuous communication maintained throughout. Crews inspected the concrete surface for debris, moisture, and irregularities before deployment, since a batten bar system transfers load into the structure and depends on the substrate being right before the first panel goes down.

This project is an example of our water reservoirs work.
