Water reservoirs

Water reservoirs are a key component in the treatment, storage and distribution of potable water. Built in many sizes and shapes they serve as repositories for the nation’s water. As drought has become more prevalent in some areas and the nation’s water supply is becoming much more important to safeguard, municipalities and other government agencies have been taking a look at their reservoirs. Unfortunately many of these reservoirs are old and needing rehabilitation. Made of concrete or asphalt these older reservoirs are leaking. These leaks can cause significant water loss and contamination.

During their rehab, these reservoirs are emptied, cleaned out, and then relined with

a geosynthetic lining system.Along with the liner itself, installations often include fabricated boots, fabricated sumps and mechanical connections for the liner to attach to the existing surface. ECA has been fortunate to work on several of the large reservoir liner projects in Southern California and their employees have worked on many more during their professional careers. As the years progress more and more of these facilities will need rehab. ECA is available to work on your project large or small.
